In this tutorial, we will learn how to adjust the speed of an event. There are two ways to perform this task and both can be done using a script.
First is the “Playback Rate”. This will allow you to adjust the speed on both video and audio. However, it is limited to a single speed change.
Second is the “Velocity Envelope”. This will allow you to adjust the speed only on the video but allows multiple speed changes throughout the event.
So which should you use? Honestly that depends on what you are needing to do. Both certainly have their uses. And both can be combined on the same event!
