Hello,

This script is exactly what I need, however I receive the following error when running it within Vegas 6.0c:

Compilation error on line 16:

Variable 'Timecode' has not been declared

System.ApplicationException: Failed to compile script: 'C:\Program Files\Sony\Vegas 6.0\Script Menu\AddMarkersToEvents.js'
at Sony.Vegas.VSAManager.Compile()
at Sony.Vegas.ScriptHost.RunScript(Boolean fCompileOnly)

I'm lost. Suggestion?

That script was written for Vegas 4. Open it in Notepad, look for "SonicFoundry.Vegas" and change that to "Sony.Vegas" and it will work fine in Vegas 5/6.

For more info, see the stickie at the top of this forum category:
Why doesn't my script work?

Bingo! Thanks Ed. I'm using Vegas scripts to integrate with UMD Composer (Sony's UMD Video editing software). I appreciate your scripting advice on this and find your solutions to be very handy.

Thanks again,
Josh

(btw, I'm also director of Customer Service/Tech Support for Sony Media Software)
