|
|
I need a help. I want to split video frame by frame (like splitted by "S" key) And will delete what I want. Forexample; I want to delete some frames- 2., 4., 6., 8., 10. .... or what I want.
1. frame will be left on video, 2. will be delete, 3. will be left, 4. will be delete...
or first 3 frames will be left, second 3 frames will be delete.....
I can delete with hand, but will take too much time!?
Is this possible with a script or Vegas? |

| You might want to look at the "strobe light" tool in Excalibur. |

Edward thanks, tested and looks ok.
But I want to explain what I want
I did video progressive (to be best) and saved it as Image Sequance. And than open it with Vegas. Looks like just one video file (and this is normal) I want to open as still image files (not play like video) I want to synchro. for rhytm, so images will change for every beats. I want to make it like photo slide show, but want to use frames from the original video. Beats changes 00:00:00:510. Looks 168-169 frames. Means I'll take one frame and will play 00:510 sec. than will change. Is this possible? If yes, how? |

| Then why not just drag the images to the timeline? In the properties, change the default length equal to 1 frame and then you'll be able to adjust them however you need as individual images. |

You mean preferences (not properties!?) Video has total over 8000 PNG files. Deleting must be too hard When I try to open like drag&drop, Vegas gets too hard to read all them, and can't open... Both 8 & 9.

Yes, I meant preferences. It sounds like you want each image up for between 5 and 6 seconds? (30fps from 168 frames = 5.6 seconds) With 8000 images, that would end up being about 12.4 hours long!
Perhaps you should do it in sections. Pull in a few hundred, get that section done, then render it out. Repeat until all sections are done. That *IS* a lot of images to read at once. How BIG are the PNG files? They should be the same size as the property settings. |

I meant I'll left some frames, delete others. Think like that; 29 frames for NTSC, I'll use just one frame and delete other 28 frames. And I'll use that frames for beats. 1 frame for one beat 00:518 (nearly a half second) I'll edit that frames for beats. Hard side ise is deleting frames by hand
I mean for every 29 frames, I need just one, and delete other 28.
And frames sizes; changes for everyrame but; nearly 450kb for every PNG files. Uncompressed frame, like uncopmressed AVI file |

| In that case, I'd probably try import as an image sequence, play back the timeline pressing "M" whereever there's a beat, Use Excalibur to split everywhere there's a marker, then use Excalibur to freeze frame every clip. That will let that ONE image show for the entire beat. |
