Hi Edward,
I've got some weird problems with Excalibur after updating to Vegas Pro 9.
Test 1: PC 1, Vegas Pro 9.0c 64-bit latest build , Excalibur 6.0.6
When I try to sync my multi-cam shot, Vegas renders the new track but stays at x% every time I try to sync.
Test 2: same PC, Vegas Pro 9.0 32-bit build 5xx, Excalibur 6.0.6
Sync works fine.
Test 3: different PC, Vegas Pro 9.0c 32-bit latest build , Excalibur 6.0.6
Same problem... With my latest clip "sync" freezes at 3%.
My sync-parameters are:
Auto-PIP 3x3; Automatically Select All Events; Addd Camera Num Overlay; Add Volume Envelopes; render to PAL-widescreen
Any idea?
Maybe it has to do with different lenghts of the clips? In the latest try, cam 2 and 4 are still black when Vegas stops rendering and stays at 3% (btw: it does not really freeze. Rendering time still counts on and on).
Thanks in advance
Thierry (Germany)
EDIT: The configuration working is NOT the latest build from Vegas. It's version 9.0 (build 5xx) |

| What happens if you run the sync with rendering turned OFF and then try to manually render? All the script does is call Vegas' render routine so if it's freezing in Excalibur, I'd expect it to also freeze if you do it manually. |

You are right... It still freezes when rendering manually. So it's time to move to Sony support.
Btw: Your multicam-tool is absolutely great. |
