|
|
OK, we have Duck-Under scripts that place Points at audio intersects for Duck-Unders. Can I have a script that will add 4-Points for a raising of the Fade-To-Colour Envelope - please?
Just used the new feature of V9, with the auto 4-point, and thought of a spiffingly super-duper script that could utilise this. Of course, you are NOW gonna inform that this isn't accessible as part of the Script-Kit? Yes?
Thank you,

Are you wanting it to auto rise at certain times?
Excalibur can already add points to that envelope. Just go to the Timeline tab to the Four Points tool and make sure you select "All Applied Track Level Envelopes". It will then add four points to that envelope as well based on the current selection area. |

| Edward Troxel wrote: | | Excalibur can already add points to that envelope. | Yes, I know. And it does this very well too! I want something more.

I want the 4-Points added at say where I have placed a Marker, and to allow me to stipulate just how long the duration would be: 1,2, or 3 frames or up to full seconds.
Apologies, I should have been more specific.
HTH?

| E-mail me the details. I'll have to look into where and how to place something of this nature. |

Edward, what more detail do you want? _________________ Less IS More - Mr P Picasso |

| Basically, how do you want it to determine WHEN the envelope should change. For example, the Voice Over changes when there's events on the Voice track reducing the volume of the audio track. What is to cause the fade to color to change and tell it how long to change? |

| Ok, I think I understand now. I've added it to the "wish list" for the next version of Excalibur. |

| Oh yes. It's definitely possible. As you can see from the 4-points tool in Excalibur, a script can add points to that envelope. Plus it can set the value for those points as well. So it's definitely possible. |
