This script will take a stereo event, copy it to a new track, set the top one to "right only" and set the bottom one to "left only" splitting your stereo track into two distinct channels.

Hi, this is nice. But I have to reduce the audio level by -6dB each time. could this be implemented in the script?

Yes it can. You would use something like:

evnt.FadeIn.Gain = .5;

You would need to do the same for "mynewEvent" as well.

Here's some of the values and their corresponding settings to use:

+6 db = 2
3.5 db = 1.5
0 db = 1
-2.5 db = .75
-6 db = .5
-12 db = .25
off = 0

Hi,
this script now takes all the events on a track and spilts those to two tracks. So, if I already have split the events, add a new stereo event and like to split it also, it splits already splitted events even further.

Would it be possible to change the script so that it would act only on selected events?

It actually works on selected TRACKS. If you put those events on a different track, select only that track, then it will only do that one event. Then you could move it back to the other tracks after it is split.
